Mindfulness Meditation Retreat

You are invited to join us at the Inner Peace Mindfulness Meditation retreat on September 9-12th, 2019. This 4-day retreat will be held in the scenic and quiet countryside of Browns Summit, North Carolina.

The mindfulness meditation retreat is the most powerful tool available for spiritual growth, and realizing true inner peace. By fully immersing yourself in the practice, you can literally make years’ worth of progress in just a matter of days. The effectiveness of the retreat comes from giving your mind the rest necessary for it to settle down to deeper level than is possible at home during your normal busy life.

Whether you’re a beginner or experienced meditator, you will learn the proper meditation techniques, so you keep making steady progress in your spiritual development. You will learn how to:

  • Overcome the stress of daily life
  • Develop greater self-confidence
  • Improve your relationships with loved ones
  • Stay focused and committed to your practice
  • Find true happiness and inner peace

There will be lectures, discussions, Q&As, meditation, and plenty of time to relax. Those who are interested can also have private discussions with the instructor, Charles A. Francis.

Here are the details of the retreat, and some information to give you a better understanding of what a mindfulness meditation retreat entails.

Where: The Summit Retreat Center in Browns Summit, NC.

When: Begins Monday September 9th at 10 am, and ends Friday September 13th at 10 am.

Noble Silence

Noble silence is a period of deep silence, which will be observed throughout much of the retreat. The purpose is to help you calm your mind and reflect on your inner world, so you can gain a greater understanding of yourself. It will also help you connect with others on a deeper unspoken level.

Accommodations are hotel style rooms with their own private bathrooms. You have the options of double occupancy and single private room.


You will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner while you are there, and the costs are included in the price of the retreat. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available upon request.

Double occupancy $649

These rates are all per person. Price includes accommodations, 3 meals/day, meeting room, and supplies. There is a $2/meal surcharge for gluten-free meals.
